Experience Trondheim from a new perspective on this guided winter kayaking trip along the Nidelva River. With quiet surroundings, crisp air, and snow-dusted views of the city, winter kayaking offers a calm and memorable way to explore the historic waterways.

Before you get on the water, the experience begins with a 20-minute introduction to paddling and safety. A professional instructor will guide you through the basics and make sure you're fully equipped with a drysuit and all necessary safety gear. Double kayaks are used for comfort and stability, making this activity suitable for beginners and children from age six.

Once on the river, you’ll paddle at a relaxed pace along a scenic route, taking in Trondheim’s winter charm from the water. The group size is kept small, ensuring a safe and personal experience throughout the 1.5-hour activity.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled departure.The minimum age for this tour is 6 years. Wear a warm base layer of wool underwear and warm clothing.Meeting point: Tempe football field, at the end of Bostadvegen in Trondheim. We recommend taking the bus to Valøyvegen, followed by a short 2-minute walk.
